In the mood for some craft beer? Maybe a good Old Fashioned? How about with a side of chips and queso? What if I told you all of that also came with a great view? It’s true, Social Capitol offers even more than that (they do have two separate food kiosks inside), but its hard to beat capping off a stroll through the beautiful Scissortail Park with one of their aforementioned offerings. Seriously, those chips and queso are fantastic.

 

Tips:

Don’t be dissuaded if you have to park far away.

Park on the other side of Scissortail Park and enjoy a stroll through it on the way to Social Capitol. Walking is so French. Who doesn’t want to be more French?

Bring the pooch!

Its dog friendly on the outside, so bring your fur baby. There are plenty of places to tie them up next to your seating. Plus, the staff love to see dogs and usually offer to bring them out some water.

Pick an off night.

Some of our favorite times to go are on a random late midweek night. Why stay in and watch some boring TV when you could grab some easy parking, enjoy some great OKC fresh air, and grab a great pint at Social Capitol free from the crowds?

 

COVID UPDATE:

Is it COVID “friendly?” Absolutely. Plenty of outside seating (upstairs even too!) and the staff all wear masks. We’ve been there a couple of times now in 2021 and always feel like we can do it responsibly and safely.
